Fanciers of Italian food will be delighted, as we offer a wide variety of meals, from luxurious menus to unpretentious luncheons. Above all, they are all served in front of the incredible scenery of the Old Town of Dresden.
While the theatre offers amusements ranging from plays to music and stand-up comedy, chef Peter Glöckner und chief Michael Schellnock are devoted to supply their guests with selected dishes. Our refined and imaginative Cucina Italiana has delighted visitors from all over the world and mentions in accredited gourmet guides have supported our distinguished reputation.
On every day, our menu is a mirror of our distinct creativity in cooking. The seasons have their influence as well as the inspirations we bring home from our visits to Mediterranean regions. Herbs play an important role in our modern fresh cuisine. The expert will enjoy it and the layman will discover what he has missed up to now.
We want to present you just one small example. A Tuscan tomato soup with herbs and croutons is accompanied by a Piedmontan roast or a Ligurian fillet of fish in the second course. Thereafter, we serve Panna Cotta with fruit dressing. Of course you may also content yourself with a plain pasta dish.
At noon and in the evenings we provide delicious three- to six-course-menus. Equally popular, our light business dish includes two courses and one drink for just 12 Euro. Moreover, we have established an excellent reputation for our selection of suitable wines of finest quality. The variety covers the traditional class of Mediterranean producing regions as well as the best domestic products. |
